Cost Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and control the cost accounting system for product manufacturing, ensuring accuracy according to accounting principles.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and control the cost accounting system for product manufacturing ensuring accuracy according to accounting principles.
• Analyze unit costs, cost variances, and compare actual costs with standards.
• Prepare cost reports and production department budgets for management.
• Verify the accuracy of raw material requisition, production, and goods transfer data in the system.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and purchasing departments to control costs and improve the cost system's efficiency.
• Manage monthly cost closing and support the preparation of the company's consolidated financial statements.
• Lead or participate in projects related to implementing/developing ERP systems related to costing.
• Supervise the cost accounting team and develop team skills to meet organizational goals.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting in manufacturing industry.
• Skills in in-depth data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Experience in implementing cost accounting systems in ERP will be considered a plus.
