Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Financial Controller to join their team in Bangkok CBD. What you'll do:

As the Country Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our client's operations. You will be responsible for directing and supervising the Shared-Service Accounting Team at the Thailand site. Your role will involve ensuring consistent compliance with US GAAP, applicable Thai GAAP and internal controls. You will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborating with the Corporate Finance Team in driving necessary financial policies, procedures, and internal controls will also be part of your remit.

* Direct and supervise the Shared-Service Accounting Team at Thailand site
* Ensure consistent compliance with US GAAP, applicable Thai GAAP and internal controls
* Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
* Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of Thailand’s statutory accounting and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with the Corporate Finance Team in driving necessary financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
* Manage and coordinate annual audits and quarterly review processes with internal and external auditors
* Hire, train and mentor talent to build a highly functioning accounting team

With a degree in Accounting or Finance under your belt, you have spent over 10 years honing your skills in roles such as Financial Controller or similar leadership positions.
