This is a great opportunity for the Finance and Accounting Manager to lead and manage team across all accounting functions. You will play a key role in oversee and manage full-loop accounting activities and deliver reports to management team in Thailand and Australia, reporting directly to Financial Controller.
What you'll do:
As a Finance and Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing full-loop accounting activities. Your excellent communication skills will be put to use as you liaise with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. You will also be responsible for reviewing tax issues, preparing taxation reports, developing innovative improvements within the team, and providing ad-hoc reports as required. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively with teams.
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities in all accounting functions (AR, AP, GL, TAX, Fixed Asset, Inventory)
- Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial statutory, audit, and tax reporting/ requirements
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the financial statement and financial reporting to external audit and other related parties such as revenue department and management team.
- Coordinate with external auditors, revenue department, and related department
- Review tax issues and prepare taxation report
- Develop, implement, and manage accounting system to improve operation working procedure
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team
- Provide ad-hoc reports as assigned
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance and Accounting Manager role brings a wealth of experience in the field. With at least eight years of relevant work experience under your belt, including three to five years at management level, you have proven your ability to succeed. Your strong knowledge of local accounting and tax laws will be invaluable in this role. As a CPD holder with excellent English communication skills, you are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels across different cultures.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Thai nationality
- Minimum eight to 10 years of relevant working experience
- Proven successful records with a minimum three to five years’ working experience in management level
- Strong knowledge of local accounting and tax laws
- CPD holder
- Good English communication skill in both written and spoken
- Experience in MNC environment and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across different cultures
