FP&A Manager
A leading retail company in Thailand is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their Strategy & Transformation team during an exciting phase of growth and evolution. What you'll do:
- Lead month-end financial analysis across all business units by examining revenue streams, gross profit margins, operating expenses, and provisions to identify root causes behind material movements
- Drive the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts by collaborating with business unit leaders to create operationally grounded plans that align with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives such as new store openings, brand P&L restructuring, capital expenditure evaluations, and IPO readiness scenarios.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex financial insights to senior stakeholders, including the CEO and board members.
- Monitor key provisions (e.g., bad debts, inventory obsolescence, returns) to ensure accurate forecasting of business risks.
- Partner closely with various business units to understand sales drivers by brand, channel, and SKU while translating operational realities into actionable financial strategies.
- Identify gaps in financial planning processes and drive improvements in data quality, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership—including the CEO, CFO, CSO, and heads of business units—to ensure alignment between finance strategy and operational execution.
- Champion process enhancements that streamline monthly close activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within finance systems.
- Contribute to cross-functional transformation projects aimed at enhancing overall organizational performance.
What you bring:
- At least eight years’ experience with corporate finance or FP&A roles.
- Expertise in building comprehensive financial models within complex organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; advanced qualifications such as CFA, CPA or MBA are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/financial modeling tools; familiarity with BI platforms or ERP systems is beneficial for enhancing reporting capabilities.
- Fluency in Thai alongside strong business English proficiency is essential for effective collaboration within this environment
