Project Finance Manager

A renewable energy company in Bangkok CBD is seeking a Project Finance Manager to oversee loan origination and administration for projects across Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Reporting to the CFO, this role manages lender relationships, negotiates financing terms, ensures compliance with loan agreements, and supports financial planning and reporting to secure and manage project debt effectively.

About the Role:
An established renewable energy company is seeking a Project Finance Manager to oversee loan origination and administration across projects in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Reporting to the CFO, this role manages lender relationships, project financing, compliance with loan agreements, and financial reporting related to project debt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate and manage project finance loans across regional projects
• Identify lenders, obtain term sheets, and negotiate loan agreements
• Coordinate due diligence with lenders and advisors (technical, financial, legal)
• Ensure compliance with loan agreements and monitor loan covenants
• Coordinate documentation and requirements for loan drawdowns
• Work with internal teams to provide required deliverables to lenders
• Prepare project cash forecasts based on financial models
• Provide updates on loan origination and compliance for management reports
• Support PPA review to ensure alignment with lender requirements
• Assist the CFO with financial analysis and management reporting

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project finance, financial analysis, or investment
• Understanding of project finance structures, preferably in renewable energy
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
