Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) in the renewable energy sector. This exciting role, based in the vibrant city of Bangkok, offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive M&A opportunities, and develop new projects within the renewable energy industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of solar projects and proven expertise in large-scale M&A transactions.

What you'll do:


As a Business Development Manager (M&A Investment), your role will be pivotal in driving the company's growth within the renewable energy sector. You will take charge of identifying and evaluating potential M&A opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong network connections, representing the company in exploring business opportunities for renewable energy projects across Thailand and Asia. Your exceptional project management skills will be crucial in securing and developing new projects from inception through to the construction phase. Furthermore, your ability to refine advanced financial models will provide detailed investment analyses for stakeholders.


* Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive analyses, risk assessments, and valuation insights
* Conduct initial screenings of projects, evaluating technical, commercial, contractual, and financial aspects
* Identify, evaluate, and drive M&A opportunities
* Build network connections representing the company in the renewable energy sector
* Secure and develop new projects up until construction phase
* Refine advanced financial models of renewable energy projects
* Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure effective project evaluations and successful M&A transactions


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager (M&A Investment) role brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the renewable energy industry. With at least 3-5 years' experience under your belt, you possess a strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of solar projects. Your exceptional project management skills have seen you deliver successful projects time after time. Your excellent communication abilities allow you to negotiate effectively and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A degree in a related field such as Engineering or Finance, coupled with your proven track record in closing deals, makes you the perfect fit for this role.
