Financial Analyst

About the Financial Analyst Role:

Reporting to Financial lead, you will take care of all the financial reports and lead accounting and finance team of the company. As the Financial Analyst, you will be in charge of working on the reporting standards and data gathered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide centralised support to Engagement CFOs, CSTs on the Engagement Life Cycle (ELC)
• Support Engagement CFOs/ CST Leadership in RfP, pricing, budgeting and planning of an engagement
• Review engagement set-up, , and ensure compliance with Firm’s policies & local tax compliance, prior to the start of the project
• Manage a portfolio of WIPs on monthly basis, work to resolve any discrepancies, ensure that accounting entries and adjustments are performed in a timely manner, by month-end close and plays a pivotal role with all stakeholders
• Collaborate with client’s procurement and finance team on the deliverables acceptance process, resolve any issues that may arises/ provide impact calculation and reconciliations to enable billings
• Monitor and analyse billing and collection ageing; work with Engagement CFO/ Engagement Directors to ensure invoices are sent on schedule, AR collected on time and follow-up on outstanding ARs with clients as necessary
• Forecast reserves and value adjustments on a monthly basis, compare forecast vs. actual upon the availability of preliminary numbers
• Track non-standard arrangements and ensure proper accounting of revenues
• Ensure compliance with global revenue policies
• Work closely with ASO finance leadership to implement policies and procedures across seven Southeast Asia offices
• Assist both local Finance teams and corporate tax team with the ELC aspects of internal/ local statutory/ tax/ ad-hoc state audits
• Take on other ad-hoc responsibilities that may be assigned

To succeed in this job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operative with senior management teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from a reputable university, or a certified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA) equivalent
• Minimum of five years in finance field or relevant experiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
• Strong command in English and Thai language in both oral and written communications
• Excellent in analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and data visualisation skills is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exposure to analysis tools such as SAP Cloud Analytics, Tableau, OBIE, SQL and Access queries would be an added advantage
• Experience working directly with senior leadership within the organisation; and in a multinational/ highly-matrixed professional services environment would be an added advantage
