Accounting Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established and supportive organisation based in Bangkok, conveniently located near BTS and MRT stations. What you'll do:

• Oversee the accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS standards, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
• Manage timely month-end and year-end closings, forecasts, and tax-related obligations to support business planning and statutory requirements.
• Lead external audits and inspections by coordinating with auditors, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring successful completion of all regulatory filings.
• Prepare and register annual financial statements as required by local authorities, maintaining up-to-date records for compliance purposes.
• Handle country-specific accounting tasks such as liaising with government agencies on regulatory matters, overseeing Board of Investment (BOI) incentives, and managing treasury operations efficiently.
• Implement robust internal control policies to safeguard company assets while serving as a key advisor on accounting-related projects, system upgrades, restructuring efforts, and initiatives considering environmental or societal impacts.
• Drive continuous process improvements by leveraging technology solutions and best practices to enhance efficiency across accounting functions.
• Foster effective collaboration between local teams and shared service centres to ensure seamless information flow and alignment on financial objectives.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 8 years' experience in Controlling or Accounting Manager role
• Fluent in English for stakeholder communication
