An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager (x1 vacancy) to join a long- established manufacturing organisation based in Samut Sakhon. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on supporting business teams with accurate financial insights

As an Accounting & Finance Manager based in Samut Sakhon, you will be at the forcal point of the finance function within a thriving manufacturing setting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering with various business units to provide insightful financial reports that drive operational success. You will oversee all aspects of cost accounting—from gross margin analysis to inventory management—ensuring that all data is meticulously prepared for senior management review.

The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund

  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc gross margin analysis by product type, customer type, region, and other relevant segments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare, analyse, and report on inventory management and cost accounting information with timely submission to the management team for review.
  • Perform month-end closing activities including preparing journal entries, evaluating inventory management processes, and analysing costs of goods sold and production.
  • Maintain comprehensive internal control documentation while assisting with cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of variances to ensure accuracy.
  • Review detailed account analyses and reconcile costs of goods sold, inventory balances, liabilities, and related accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Coordinate closely with IT teams regarding system issues or enhancements affecting production, purchasing, import/export operations, accounts payable/receivable, shipping, and related functions.
  • Support internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules and tax schedules by providing accurate data and analysis as needed.
  • Manage a team of accountants by overseeing daily operations, supervising performance, providing training opportunities, setting clear objectives, and monitoring progress regularly.
  • Deliver commentary and monthly analysis of actual cost elements against standard costs or budgets while identifying risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives for senior management consideration.
  • Assist business units in annual budget preparation by engaging with budget holders to gather inputs efficiently and ensure targets are met.

To excel as an Accounting Manager in this manufacturing environment located in Samut Sakhon, you will bring proven expertise gained from several years working within similar settings. Your academic background in accounting equips you with the technical knowledge required for complex cost analysis tasks. Having managed teams before, you understand how to nurture talent through supportive supervision while fostering open communication channels.   • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting is required for this position along with a solid foundation in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Cost Accounting Standards.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in costing accounting roles within a manufacturing environment is essential for success in this role.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in managerial positions where you have demonstrated effective supervision, training delivery, and development of accounting teams is necessary.
  • Excellent English communication skills are vital for collaborating across departments as well as presenting complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities are required for interpreting financial data accurately while identifying trends or variances that impact business performance.
  • A positive attitude towards change coupled with adaptability ensures you can respond constructively to evolving business needs or process improvements.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Movex or M3 would be advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn new technologies is important.
  • Experience coordinating with IT departments on system-related matters enhances your ability to resolve issues efficiently across finance-related modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining dependable within a team-oriented culture is highly valued by the organisation.
