Finance and Accounting Manager

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee all financial operations at their Thailand manufacturing site, located in Rama 2, Bangkok. What you'll do:

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes are completed accurately and on schedule in accordance with TFRS as well as group policies.
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to provide clear insights into business performance.
• Supervise balance sheet reconciliations while maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
• Liaise effectively with auditors, tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and external advisors to facilitate audits and statutory filings.
• Review and approve all tax returns including CIT, VAT, WHT; coordinate closely with external tax advisors to ensure full compliance with Thai tax laws.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for factory operations; analyse actual versus budgeted results to identify root causes of variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management in operational planning activities such as capital expenditure evaluation and productivity improvement projects.
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, supplier payments, collections, intercompany settlements, and coordinate local/cross-border transactions with banks.
• Supervise and develop finance & accounting team members by fostering accuracy, professionalism, continuous improvement initiatives, automation tool implementation, and enhanced internal controls.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required; CPA is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within multinational companies or manufacturing environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of TFRS, tax laws, statutory compliance requirements as well as corporate governance frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical abilities enabling you to interpret financial data accurately while identifying risks and proposing practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English are essential for coordinating effectively with Revenue Department officers, auditors, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
