Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Bangkok. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial results are prepared and reported in compliance with company policies, local GAAP and US GAAP.

What you'll do:

As an Accounting Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.

• Ensure that financial statements are prepared and reported in accordance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies as well as Thai GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Prepare key financial reports to meet internal and external requirements.
• Lead the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial data.
• Lead monthly account reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets including capitalization, disposal, and physical asset validation.
• Lead annual tax return filings process.
• Review direct and indirect tax submission on monthly basis.
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place and monitor control activities.
• Lead on Statutory Financial Reports preparation and submission to government.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounting Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing accounting functions within large organisations.

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related fields
• Minimum 7 years' experience at manager level
• Knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations as well as BOI regulations
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Good team leader and team player
