Accounting and Tax Manager

Our client is on the hunt for a highly knowledgeable Accounting and Tax Manager to lead and manage reporting, tax, and treasury tasks. This job is an exciting chance to work in an active setting in Bangkok, close to BTS station with hybrid working arrangement.

What you'll do:

As an Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be at the heart of the company's financial operations.

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare monthly, mid-year, and annual CIT computation for review
• Review monthly withholding tax for all vendor payment types
• Keep a close eye on cash balance regularly and liaise with Corporate Treasury on funding requirements
• Work hand-in-hand with local auditor for interim and year-end audit field works and statutory financial statement processing
• Provide insightful advice to the team to correct process, tax compliance in both terms of reporting and tax pieces

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting and Tax Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Advanced proficiency in SAP financial transaction applications
• Robust Thai tax knowledge (CIT, VAT, WHT)
• Understanding of local and US GAAP, SOX and auditing functions
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
