Accounting Manager

What you'll do:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities within the organisation.

• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
• Prepare and submit local book and group book in compliance with accounting standards and corporate guidelines
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors during annual audits
• Serve as the main point of contact for interactions with the revenue department, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
• Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Mentor, train, and supervise a team of subordinate accountants

What you bring:

The ideal Accounting Manager will bring a wealth of experience in accounting and financial management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
• Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, and working with auditors
• Fluency in English; effective communication skills in the local language are also required
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of accountants
• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in accounting software
