Accounting Manager (100K) - BTS Ploenchit

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Bangkok-based accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and efficient accounting operations. This role requires strong expertise in Thai and international accounting standards, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with the EXPRESS program in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 4 accountants, overseeing day-to-day activities in accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
• Develop and implement processes that enhance operational efficiency, streamline general accounting activities, and strengthen internal controls in compliance with legal and corporate policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to meet Group requirements, adhering to financial standards and tax regulations.
• Supervise month-end close activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies while analyzing results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, including tax laws, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements. Act as a liaison with the Revenue Department and prepare tax declarations for submission.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure statutory compliance and facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Work closely with business units to understand operational needs and train team members, improving their knowledge of financial and tax standards.

Key Qualifications:

• Thai nationality with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in accounting within a multinational organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in the EXPRESS accounting program is required, and experience with Transfer Pricing is a plus.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work hands-on with the team.
