Accounting and Finance Manager - Rama9

This replacement role ,manages two accountants in team. The key responsibilities include overseeing the entire accounting cycle, handling financial close entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Prior experience with SAP is preferred for this position.

Job Description:

• Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and financial close processes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software; prior experience with SAP is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
