What you'll do:
As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our client's finance department. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of accounting including cash management, payables and receivables (AP, AR), bank/account reconciliation among others. You will also be tasked with conducting budgeting, cash flow analysis as well as revenue and expenditure variance analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
* Establish, manage, and oversee daily operation of the accounting month and end-year process
* Handle cash management, payables and receivables (AP, AR), bank/account reconciliation, fixed assets, employee reimbursements, utilities treasury, general ledger (GL) and financial reporting
* Conduct budgeting, cash flow analysis, revenue and expenditure variance analysis
* Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
* Handle monthly/ quarterly / yearly tax filings (FCT/ VAT/ PIT/ CIT/ statistic report/ others) in compliance with current tax regulations/ Thailand Accounting Standard
* In charge of reporting and packages, statutory financial statements
* Develop the skills of employees to align with the necessary knowledge and skills required for their job responsibilities
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accounting Specialist position brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. With a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or a related field under your belt, you have spent at least 10 years honing your skills within this industry. Your background includes experience within the retail business sector and you possess knowledge of Oracle NetSuite. You are known for your logical thinking abilities and strong leadership skills. Your proficiency in problem-solving is matched by your excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field
* 10+ years’ experience in Finance & Accounting
* Experiences in Retail Business
* Knowledge and experience in Oracle NetSuite
