About the Assistant Manager - Accounting Role:
This is a great opportunity for the Assistant Accounting Manager to redevelop accounting systems and processes. This is a stand-alone position. You will be in charge of overall finance & accounting operational works. You will have to handle a small amount of Admin and HR works.
The package for this role includes base salary + performance bonus
Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations
Process vendor payments and check requests
Process employee reimbursements
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned
Respond to inquiries from staff regarding budgets, deposits, disbursement and grant reporting requests
Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts as indicated by the monthly closing schedule
Process payroll and report payroll taxes
Develop and manage annual budgets including preparation of periodic budget forecasts
Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed
Analyse monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested
Prepare year-end books for audit
Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations
Perform basic office management duties as requested
To succeed in this role, you must possess good English communication skill and be able to provide insight and financial advice to the management team for the best business decision for the company.
At least Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area.
Minimum five years' working experience proven as an Accounting/Finance manager
Good computer skills on MS Office and Hyperion
Good English communication skills both written and spoken
Well organised and good interpersonal skills
Be able to work independently with little guidance from management
Demonstrate good judgement and good problem-solving skills
