A rapidly expanding FMCG company is looking for a talented Tax Manager in Bangkok to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all tax-related issues

About the Tax Manager Role:

The Tax Manager will play a key role in the tax team. Due to the excellent results and future expansion plans, the selected candidate will be vital for the company to grow effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the company
• Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate income tax, excise tax, custom and other tax related
• Coordinate with Corporate affair and/or Legal department to ensure alignment to ensure that any correspondence between the company and Excise Department aligns with Excise tax strategy
• Coordinating with Customs Authority and company function for any required documents
• Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support
• Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters
• Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives
  

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of tax applications and laws.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in tax, accounting, law or related field
• Experience in Big four is a plus
• Four to five years' experience in a tax role from a well known company
• Managerial skill
• Good personal skill
• Good English communication skill
• Has the desire to improve
