Chief Strategy Officer

What you'll do:

• Develop new products that respond to evolving market needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish new channels for brand awareness, sales, and service delivery both online and offline to increase market presence.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of processes and system enablers that support business efficiency and adaptability.
• Adapt the organisation’s structure and operations in response to changing market conditions and regulatory landscapes.
• Support fundraising activities such as the issuance of corporate debentures by providing strategic input on policy setting and risk management.
• Contribute to credit policy setting including residual value assessments, operational risk frameworks, asset-liability management strategies, HR policies, IT security protocols, data protection measures, and company returns management.
• Set annual business targets collaboratively with senior leadership and implement measures to ensure performance objectives are achieved across all departments.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including sales performance management, project implementation oversight, relationship building with major customers and partners, approval of large credit facilities or expenditures, back-office operations guidance, customer service standards review, credit collections supervision, finance reporting oversight, treasury management, and stakeholder reporting.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in commercial or investment banking, management consulting within financial services practice areas or other financial institutions such as insurance or asset management.
• A strong grasp of accounting principles and finance at MBA level or equivalent professional qualification is essential for this role.
• Experience implementing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders with significant investments required.
• Demonstrated leadership in forming commercial or equity partnerships that have contributed positively to organisational growth.
• Management experience overseeing big team with a focus on nurturing talent development through supportive leadership practices.
• Familiarity with credit risk assessment processes for corporate or SME customers is desirable for this position though not essential.
