Senior Corporate Strategy Position
You will be instrumental in driving the organisation's strategic growth and expansion efforts. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and executing initiatives that align with the company’s long-term objectives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) when appropriate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, investment banking, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and implement strategies that drive growth and competitive advantage.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities.
- Business Opportunities: Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
- Financial Analysis: Oversee the development of financial models and analyses to assess the viability and impact of strategic initiatives, including M&A.
- Due Diligence: Lead cross-functional teams in conducting due diligence on potential opportunities, evaluating risks and benefits.
- Negotiation & Partnerships: Engage in negotiations and build relationships with potential partners and stakeholders to facilitate successful collaborations.
- Integration Planning: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new initiatives and partnerships into existing operations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, investment banking, business development, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and business analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in English.
