Credit Analyst -Oil and Gas Industry

This position is responsible for managing assigned accounts to control the company’s credit risk exposure by conducting creditworthiness reviews, setting credit limits, overseeing payment terms, handling credit violations, and managing credit board meetings.

Job Description :

• Manage assigned accounts within a designated portfolio to ensure effective control of the company's credit risk exposures.
• Conduct thorough creditworthiness reviews to establish appropriate credit limits and payment terms for customers.
• Monitor and ensure that customers adhere to the approved credit terms and conditions, promptly addressing any credit violations.
• Organize and manage credit board meetings, providing necessary data and analysis to support credit decisions.
• Perform annual credit reviews to assess and update customer credit statuses and adjust credit limits as needed.
• Develop and implement credit scoring models, set credit limits, and establish payment terms, policies, and procedures to streamline credit operations.
• Provide advice and guidance to the Sales Team on credit matters, delivering timely and accurate credit data to management, and addressing any credit-related issues promptly.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related fields; a Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is preferred.
• Solid experience in financial analysis.
• Proven experience in creditworthiness review and credit control.
• Familiarity with SAP for credit management functions, other credit management systems, or tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for additional credit assessments with the Business team.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
