Funding Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Funding Manager to join a highly respected organisation based in Bangkok. This role offers you the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping the company’s private equity investment strategy, driving growth and diversification across hospitality, real estate, and emerging sectors. You will be empowered to lead fundraising initiatives, manage investor relations, and oversee portfolio performance with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive private equity fund strategies that align with organisational growth objectives and sector diversification plans.
• Structure investment vehicles to maximise returns while ensuring full compliance with SEC/SET regulations and internal governance frameworks.
• Define clear fund objectives, establish robust governance structures, and set measurable performance benchmarks for all investment activities.
• Lead fundraising campaigns targeting institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals by preparing compelling investment decks and financial models.
• Build enduring relationships with limited partners and external stakeholders through regular updates, quarterly reports, and detailed investment briefings.
• Identify new investment opportunities in hospitality, real estate, and emerging sectors by conducting thorough market research and due diligence.
• Perform rigorous financial modelling, risk assessment, and valuation analysis to support sound investment decisions.
• Negotiate deal terms effectively, structure transactions efficiently, and oversee all legal and financial documentation processes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Business Development as well as external advisors including investment banks, consultants, and law firms.
• Monitor portfolio performance continuously; implement value creation strategies while reviewing quarterly valuations and preparing assets for exit readiness.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in private equity or investment banking with at least 5 years spent in a fund management or leadership capacity.
• Deep understanding of fundraising processes including preparation of information memorandums and investor presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Thai SEC/SET regulations governing fund structures and compliance requirements.
• Outstanding communication skills in both English and Thai enabling clear presentation of ideas to investors and colleagues.
• Entrepreneurial mindset capable of identifying new opportunities while adapting strategies to changing market conditions.
