What you'll do:

As Chief Financial Officer, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of financial operations while fostering a culture of learning within your team. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with the CEO based in Thailand as well as regular interaction with local governance bodies. You will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory filings are completed accurately and on time while also developing strategies that support sustainable growth. * Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and reporting functions for the Thailand-based exchange.
* Ensure full compliance with SEC filing requirements and local statutory regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and best practices.
* Develop and implement robust financial strategies that align with organisational goals and support ongoing expansion within the cryptocurrency market.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring transparency and reliability for both internal stakeholders and external regulators.
* Provide mentorship, training, and day-to-day guidance to a small finance team comprising an accountant, treasury specialist, and tax officer.
* Collaborate closely with business units to deliver actionable financial insights that inform strategic decision-making across departments.
* Identify potential financial risks proactively and establish effective controls to safeguard data integrity and organisational assets.
* Liaise regularly with auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and adherence to all statutory obligations.

* Comprehensive understanding of SEC filing requirements as well as local financial regulations specific to Thailand’s market environment.
* Demonstrated interest or experience in cryptocurrency or fintech sectors is highly desirable for success in this role.
* Exceptional analytical abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills that foster collaborative relationships across departments.
* Fluency in both Thai and English is essential for effective communication with local authorities as well as international stakeholders.
* Experience guiding small teams through periods of change by providing mentorship, training opportunities, and supportive feedback loops.
