Treasury Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Treasury Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Bangkok. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring optimal cash flow, and coordinating with banks for various transactions. This role offers an excellent platform to utilise your skills in financial modelling, corporate banking, and SAP.

What you'll do:

As a Treasury Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's finances. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure optimal cash flow by managing cash inflows and outflows. You will also be tasked with quoting interest rates for deposits and loans in both local and foreign currencies. Additionally, you will prepare necessary bank documents for cross-border transactions. Your role will also involve coordinating with relevant functions to ensure smooth treasury processes. Furthermore, you will perform various financial operations including bank reconciliation and recording bank transactions in SAP. You will also have the opportunity to contribute towards process improvement projects.

• Perform financial management tasks including preparing cash flow models to forecast short-term and long-term cash positions.
• Manage cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Quote interest rates for deposits and loans in both THB and foreign currencies.
• Prepare bank documents or electronic files for making cross border transactions.
• Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure smooth treasury processes.
• Perform financial operations such as coordinating with banks to open/close accounts, manage bank facilities, and other products such as LG, BG, LC, Forward contract.
• Conduct bank reconciliation and record bank transactions in SAP.
• Prepare internal memos and presentations regarding the above jobs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned such as process improvement projects.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Treasury Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial management. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you possess strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills that enable you to handle complex financial scenarios effectively. Your proficiency in English (both spoken and written) allows you to communicate effectively within a diverse team. Knowledge of Chinese language would be an added advantage. Your familiarity with SAP gives you an edge in managing financial operations efficiently.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related field is essential.
• Working knowledge of basic financial modelling, corporate banking and MS Office is necessary.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are needed.
• Good command of both spoken and written English is required.
