Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to join their team in Samut Prakan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities, including month-end closing and reporting, business planning, transfer pricing, SAP improvement projects, and more. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with various departments, acting as a key interface and providing valuable support where needed.
What you'll do:
As a Plant Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing month-end closing and reporting processes, developing and updating planning schedules based on regional/group requirements, and supporting various departments in their financial planning efforts. You will also be involved in identifying potential improvements in SAP processes and supporting related projects. Furthermore, you will ensure understanding across all Asia 1 MEs about Transfer Pricing guidelines. Your role will also involve responsibility for structured training processes for new controlling employees.
- Ensure correctness of MARS reporting and follow-up actions from reviews
- Develop and update monthly closing/reporting schedules based on regional/group requirements
- Participate actively in discussions of business strategy with Management where needed
- Support, review and coordinate with related departments for cost centers, material cost, capex, inventory, headcount/personnel cost
- Identify SAP improvement potentials and support SAP improvement projects
- Ensure understanding in all Asia 1 MEs about Transfer Pricing including guidelines
- Responsible for structured training process / training packages for new controlling employees
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Plant Controller position brings a wealth of experience in Controlling/Financial Planning & Analysis. With at least 10 years under your belt, you possess strong accounting knowledge including cost centre controlling. Your proficiency in SAP (PS, CO, FI) sets you apart as does your fluency in English language skills and MS Office proficiency. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields
- At least 10 years of experience in Controlling/Financial Planning & Analysis
- Good accounting know-how and Cost center controlling
- Proficiency in SAP (PS, CO, FI)
- Fluent English language skill and MS Office proficiency
