A leading international IT service provider is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee full accounting operations and lead a small team. This role reports to an expatriate Financial Controller and plays a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. Detailed Job Description

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including monthly and year-end closing

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities

• Lead and manage a team of 3 accounting staff, providing guidance and performance oversight

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders

• Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and provide insights to support business decisions

• Monitor and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes

• Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiency within the accounting function

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards

• Experience in service, trading, or operational business is preferred

• Good command of English (ability to communicate with expatriate management)

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Stable career track record (non-job hopper preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP
