VP Accounting and Finance - Food Retail

Lead the accounting and finance function for a fast-growing food retail startup, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient process implementation. This role involves selecting vendors, streamlining operations between front-line service and back-end processes, and managing the finance team to support business growth.

Job Description

• Ensure financial closing aligns with PAE standards.

• Select and manage vendors to implement seamless processes between front-line service operations and back-end accounting.

• Oversee the finance and accounting team, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

• Establish and optimize financial processes, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Analyze financial performance, provide insights for strategic decision-making, and support business growth initiatives.

• Manage tax filings, audits, and financial risk assessments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency and operational effectiveness.

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Total 10 years + working expedience .At least 3 years of experience in a corporate finance or accounting role.

• Auditor background is preferable.

• Experience in the food retail business is required.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, compliance, and process optimisation.

• Ability to manage vendors and implement financial systems for business operations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
