Our client is actively seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accounting Assistant Manager, specialising in General Ledger operations. This role is based in the bustling centre of Bangkok CBD, offering an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic team within a prestigious organisation.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Accounting Manager with a focus on General Ledger, your role will be pivotal in maintaining financial accuracy within our client's organisation. You will be responsible for reviewing reconciliation processes, ensuring all journal entries are accurately inputted, and assisting with day-to-day G/L operations. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in monitoring physical inventories and preparing monthly/quarterly accounting packages. Furthermore, your understanding of local legal and statutory requirements will play a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager.

  • Reviewing the reconciliation process to ensure all reconciliations are complete and accurate
  • Supporting the Accounting Manager regarding policies and procedures relative to the functional area
  • Ensuring that all journal entries and accounting transactions are inputted and posted correctly
  • Assisting the team in identifying accounting requirements and managing day-to-day G/L operations
  • Supporting the Accounting Manager in relation to local legal and statutory requirements
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly accounting packages for regional office as requested
  • Monitoring physical inventories and ensuring necessary adjustments are provided for
  • Reviewing V.A.T. report and other local tax reporting to authorities
