Costing and managerial accouting assistant manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Cost Accounting Manager to oversee and manage cost accounting functions at our factory in Samut Sakhon. This role requires a strong background in cost accounting, particularly within a manufacturing environment, to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations and can work on saturday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and updating the product cost prices, ensuring that actual production costs align with the established standards.
• Develop standard costing, oversee, and verify production reports in the SAP system. Record variances between actual costs and standard costs in SAP.
• Review budgets, manage cost accounting, and perform month-end close processes. Prepare stock turnover and aging reports, set up reserves for obsolete inventory, and conduct physical inventory counts.
• Manage, control, oversee, and audit production data entries in the SAP system, ensuring that all information is regularly updated.
• Review the accuracy and completeness of BOM (Bill of Materials) and Routing data, providing support to related departments.
• Analyze and compare actual production costs against standard costs.
• Monitor and verify production processes according to the established formulas, checking for daily production losses while considering impacts on food safety, quality, authenticity, and legal compliance.
• Prepare information for investment promotion certificates.
• Resolve work-related issues and provide guidance to subordinates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 6 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, with experience in BOI (Board of Investment) regulations.
• Able to work on Saturday
