AP Team Lead

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee their AP operations across the region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments in accordance with company policies and local regulations.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing our client's financial operations across the region.

• Monitor accounts payable processes to ensure all payment requests are input into system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review and record invoices, checking correctness of documents.
• Conduct payment processes for both vendors and employees for all legal entities.
• Maintain vendor masters in SAP with proper terms and tax rates.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Prepare inter company reconciliation on a monthly basis for all entities in the region.
• Develop accounting record retention processes.
• Update working procedures and processes to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Work closely with General Ledger team to ensure relevant data is captured during AP posting.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Team Lead position brings a wealth of experience in managing Accounts Payable operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 8 years of working experience of managing Accounts Payable.
• Familiarity with AR and AP process and internal control requirements.
• Knowledge and experience of SAP.
