Spotlight on the Vietnam job market

Vietnam's economy is poised for growth, but its job market faces certain challenges.
In an interview with UK's Recruiter magazine, Rupali Edekar, country manager for Robert Walters Vietnam, comments that the fastest growing sectors so far are FMCG, manufacturing, IT, healthcare/technical healthcare, retail banking and hospitality.
However, Ms. Edekar notes that there are “particular gaps in skill sets within the banking and financial sector, especially within the local talent market at the middle to senior management levels”.
This is an issue that Vietnam's job market will take some time to overcome.
