CMO will be the senior marketing officer of our Client’s business. He/she will have overall responsibility for establishing and driving the Consumer marketing strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning:
• Work with business leaders to capture business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to craft the adequate marketing strategies and plans to support the organization
• Achieve sustainable growth in consumer goods sales
2. Marketing Strategy:
• Develops integrated customer-facing strategies and program(s) that align marketing to business objectives of growth in consumer sales.
• Build a Consumer business with competitive advantage in customer experience, value and innovation.
• A strong focus on repeat sales to existing independent Representatives (IRs).
• Develop Marketing strategies to for IRs to promote consumer products to consumers.
3. Customer Experience:
• Defines and directs marketing research programs to gain relevant insights (customer satisfaction) to guide customer experience
• Improve Customer Experience through e-business
4. Brand: The CMO is the brand champion. Identifies opportunities to build and strengthen brand equity and ensures branding guidelines are followed consistently throughout the organization
5. Competitive Analysis:
• Develops and leads best practices in competitive analysis in key markets, including developing a better understanding of our competitive position within the Direct Selling industry.
• Converts competitive analysis into strategy by working with the Product Heads to innovate and develop value propositions that meet our mutual goals of maximizing customer value.
• Focus on bringing actual and up to minute data on market conditions and competitor activity to stay up to date with the fast paced movement of the emerging markets •Champions Innovation by ensuring that our forward-looking innovation portfolio is building our value as a brand and that the innovation portfolio is sufficient to meet our future growth goals.
6. Product Development: Manages the Product Development to make sure that product development is aligned with our marketing strategy and vision.
7. Communication:
• Working closely with the communication team, develops & supports internal and external communication (Network Communication and Public Relations) programs to ensure company, product and market positioning consistent with our strategies and vision.
• Closely Manages Ecommerce marketing and digital media.
• Manages marketing budgets not associated with campaigns
8. Event Management: Manages events like conferences, exhibitions.
9. Financial Benchmarks: Responsible for meeting and exceeding direct benchmarks and other KPIs established by the Executive Committee.
10. Best Practices: Responsible for sharing Marketing best practices across all subsidiaries.
11. Training Programs:
• Provides training to all business unites to enhance bench-strength and improve skills and job-progression.
• Responsible for the network training by providing product ambassador training, train the trainer programs, and marketing collaterals.
12. Public Relations: Responsible for PR programs

Key Requirements:
1. 15+ year experience in a senior marketing function in a complex multinational corporation with a reputable and established marketing organization
2. Practical successful experience in executing marketing strategies; especially preferred in emerging and developing markets internationally
3. Experience and proven success in consumer goods marketing, ecommerce and new media, Direct Selling industry.
4. Experience in Asia-Pacific is required
5. MBA preferred
6. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and significant travel.
