The actuarial job scope covering a wide range of product pricing and development for both traditional life product and non-traditional life products e.g. Universal Life and Investment Linked Product including product filing, implementation and product management.
Main Duties & Responsibilities % Time spent
• Product pricing and filing to regulator. 40%
• Product management and system implementation for product launch. 30%
• Conduct actuarial experience study. 10%
• Review agency compensations and marketing campaigns. 10%
• Support other actuarial project as assigned. 10%
Key Relationship
Internal
• Contact Marketing/Distribution for product development and pricing.
• Contact MIS/Operation for product implementation and management.
External
• Contact OIC and TLAA for product filing and report submission.

Candidate Specifications
• Insurance knowledge and experience is required.
• Committed or passing some actuarial exams are highly preferable.
• Excel in MS-office or computer programming is preferable.
