Our Client:
Our client is a large foreign bank with a long history of operations in Thailand. Due to recent investment to grow the presence here, they are seeking a strong Relationship Manager to join their growing team based in Bangkok.
Main Objectives & Purpose
Marketing/Revenue Objectives
• To meet revenue goal
• To boost utilization and expand relationship with existing customers within the portfolio
• To foster a major relationship with at least one core group in the portfolio
• To cross sell products of other business lines
• To initiate new files to the existing portfolio
Risk Management Objectives
• To closely monitor financial status of the clients and ensure that no new provision is added
• To recommend and implement timely exit/expand strategies
• To coordinate closely with the Credit Analyst to ensure the quality of credit proposals with no negative comment from Credit Risk department
Administration of account portfolio under operational parameters of the Bank
• To promptly conduct annual reviews within the maturity dates
• To monitor and work closely with Client Services and Credit Control on completeness of documentation of each file
Quality of work and development of Credit Analyst
• To work closely with Credit Analyst to meet annual review deadlines and to obtain approval for the new/interim requests on a timely basis
• To coach and provide guidance to junior analysts as appropriate
Essential Skills and Experience :
• Strong knowledge of local corporate market
• Fundamental credit risks
• Understanding of bank products and services
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Master Degree
• Excellent command of English
• 5-7 years in banking industry
• At least 3-5 years in Relationship Management role preferably in a foreign bank
• Marketing, Interpersonal/communication, credit and multi-task skills
• Commitment to career growth, positive thinking/energy
